confusedI needed a break. My mind was so wiped. The other day I wrote 4 chapters in less then 24 hours. That was over 8,000 words. My brain was fried and I ended up with a horrible migraine last night so...
I spent today playing Sims2 and just chilling. But now I feel blocked. I don't even know where I am going and don't feel like doing anything. I'm way behind on my word totals. I doubt there is anyway I will make 50,000 by Nov. 30, but I will do my best. I'm up past 18,000 and only 10 chapters into the story. The first part was 15 chapters and 23,000 words.
Anyway...
chapters 9 and 10 kind of mirrored each other in the beginning. They both showed Steve and Hyde sneaking out after a night with their girlfriends and catching each other. I had never intended to do a perfect mirror like that but it worked out too well not too. The Steve has to deal with some erotic dreams he's been having about his best friend and for some crazy reason talks to Mike Kelso about it. He doesn't really come to any conclusions about the dreams, but it sets up the tension that will happen between him and Kate. People are already expecting it and it is working good. I have many ideas on how to blow it all up. It'll work, trust me.
Hyde sneaks out after giving up and staying the night with Jackie. Then he has to have a little talk with Eric about his troubles with Donna. He's just trying to help but Eric goes off on him. Now Hyde has to decide whether to really get involved or let them work it out themselves, no matter the out come--big decision.
The realy reason I haven't written any lately is I don't know where to go next. I realized that my plot was moving to fast and the story would end way before 50,000 so I needed to slow it down. So the last two chapters were actually only a small part of the chapters I had in mind. That would leave to reason that the next few chapters would already be worked out but I was so tired when I finished chapter 10 (it was after 3 in the morning) that I completely forgot what the hell my idea was. Hell, I was so tired I forgot what I had even written that night (morning--whatever). So... now I need to reread and decide where the heck I was going and get there because I'm getting even farther behind. I was almost up to my target wordcount. Oh well. As long as the story gets written and the girls like it.
